The Red Devils become the first English club and the second European club to win the Club World Cup after 1-0 victory over LDU Quito from Ecuador. LDU Quito are the south american champions after won the 2008 Copa Libertadores.
The FIFA Club World Cup, formerly known as the FIFA Club World Championship, is a football competition where it involve clubs from all six continental confederations and the winner of the tournament will be crowned as the best team in the world.
The Club World Cup 2008 was held at the International Stadium Yokohama and attended by 68,682 people.
"The not so called handsome player is the best player of the tournament"
The 73rd minute goal from player of the tournament Wayne Rooney gave United a deserved victory.
